My wife and I moved to Arborfield Cross in August 2023 – having previously lived for many years in Kent – to be nearer to family and friends. I retired in 2016 having worked for the best part of 50 years in London as a chartered accountant. My wife, also now retired, taught A level physics. We have five grown up children and, so far, four grandchildren. We are both very keen bird watchers and much enjoy watching cricket. I am delighted to have become a Parish Councillor and much look forward to becoming involved in local issues and supporting the local community – we have been immensely warmed by the local people we have so far met.
